Description originale
Knee high rubber boots seem to be everywhere these days….almost no matter what the weather. But let’s face it, they’re not exactly the warmest pair of boots in your closet. Now DIY’ers and rubber boot fanatics can knit their way to rubber boot warmth. Even though the world will only see that touch of knitted fashion statement that hangs over the top of the boot, these toppers actually extend into the boot down to the ankle; yes a leg warmer designed specifically to be worn with rubber boots. Way cozy. And, since it’s not a sock – it’s open at the top and bottom – no need to worry if your boots fit your foot snug. Just open the box and everything you need is there to make one pair of toppers: instructions for both patterns: ribbed and lace; 2 balls (50 grams each) of 100% organic Merino wool, knitting needles, blunt darning needle, yarn cutter and a fabric notions bag to hold everything. Comes in Eggplant, Kiwi, Navy and Red. If you can knit, purl and do a simple yarn over, you can make the toppers; for the novice basic how-to-knit instructions are also included. Made in the USA.
Presentation box measures 4 inches W x 9 ½ inches H x 2 1/3 inches D.
Available on SpoonSisters for 36 dollars
